Miss Chinese International 2016: Are Ruffled Peplum Bandage Dresses Still In?

It’s January and that time of the year for TVB’s Miss Chinese International Pageant 2016, which usually takes place at the end of January. Talented Chinese girls from various countries partake in this two-week pageant, which allows them to show off their talents. On January 16, 2016, the fourteen contestants made their public debut in ruffled peplum bandage dresses.

Although the bandage dress is probably a classic to stay as it defines a woman’s body like no other fabric and silhouette, the peplum trend to be retired. The ladies sported the dresses in a variety of colors including black, red, pink, and a subdued peach. For a more upfront shot of each contestant in their dresses, click here.

Sydney’s Tiana Luan was chosen to try on the crown before the real evening of the show.
