Asian Celebrity Street Style: Kate Tsui, Chrissie Chau, Tiffany Hwang

Each week I soar the web for great and wearable celebrity street style outfits. This Friday’s edition features Kate Tsui, Chrissie Chau, Tiffany Hwang.

Kate Tsui’s Happy 4th of July Look

Although I know it’s unintentional, but I can’t help noticing Kate’s extremely patriotic ensemble wearing red, white, and blue from head to toe. Stationed right outside a wooden bike, the simplicity of her pieces really goes far to show that style can be effortless and comfortable. A navy striped shirt will always be a closet staple, but Kate’s red striped top really stands out while still remaining neutral. She paired the top with white lace shorts. You would think that celebrities never wear a piece again, but Kate seems to love her easy to slip in slip-ons!

If there is anything that elevates all our favorite closet staples, it’s definitely her aqua printed head scarf, sporting a Bohemian vibe while keeping her bangs loose and effortlessly summery.

While it is unknown where Kate’s structured crossbody bag is from, I personally opted for this popular one by Chloe. I’m never someone who loves chain bags, but the way this one rests slightly in the front of our hips is super cute.

Chrissie Chau’s Laid-back Summer Look

Everything about Chrissie’s outfit screams California summer. A walk into Zara, you would soon realize that half their store is filled with one of this season’s hottest (or shall I say “coolest”) colors: blue serenity. Off-the-shoulder tops continues to dominates the fast fashion scene this summer — and for an excellent reason. It’s cool and sexy without being showy. She paired her top with high-waisted denim cutoffs and easy-to-walk in vibrant, blue printed slip-ons.

The three shades of blue were balanced with a pink structured crossbody bag, showing off her girly side.

There are simply too many options for these serenity off shoulder tops — and this goes far to prove that I’m not making these trends up. 😉 I allowed for two options in terms of crossbody bags simply because I’ve been in love with the saddle bag style, which screams Bohemian for the summer. This one by Rebecca Minkoff is less expensive than the one by Chloe, which is less sophisticated without the gold detailing but more soft and whimsical with the tassels and the color pink.

Tiffany Hwang’s Pom Pom Sandals

Every look this week has been comfortable and I swear this wasn’t a scheme. Since the heat here in LA has been taking over our minds, let our bodies feel loose and free. Tiffany was spotted at Gimhae International Airport in a lace-up stripes shift dress. Paired with the easy one piece is a yellow crossbody bag and adorable pom pom sandals.

Kate’s bag is called Sicily from Dolce & Gabbana 🙂

    • Thanks for sharing, Lynn! I wasn’t too crazy about her bag so I didn’t research it plus I already had the Chloe crossbody in mind when I saw her outfit. Now readers have another option to choose from. 🙂

  • Tiffany is soo pretty! I always love her style!
