Each week I soar the web for great and wearable celebrity street style outfits simply because the street is a runway where everyone can afford to walk on. This Friday’s edition features Myolie Wu, Jessica Jung, and Chrissie Chau.
AF is now accepting Asian celebrity street style photos from readers who would like to see their favorite celebrity street style look created. If you want to see a celebrity street style look re-created, please email the celebrity style photo to email@example.com for a chance to be featured in next week’s edition!
Myolie Wu’s Brights and Embroidered Street Chic Look
Always inspiring us with wearable, practical, and street chic looks, Myolie appeared in London Chinatown in a loose printed red blouse and one of this season’s hottest trends: the embroidered (denim) jean. The comfortable everyday look was accompanied by black leather platform shoes, a quirky cherry-printed chain clutch, and our favorite go-to aviator sunglasses for a jetset-ready look!
Myolie’e Inspired Look
If jeans are your go-to piece for everyday wear, the embroidered denim might be something to venture into next. Fast fashion retailers like Zara and Asos is all about them. I’m never one of fitted oxford button-downs, but I must love a loose shirt blouse that drapes the body beautifully and comfortably (and which usually looks good on all body types). A red printed one definitely adds some sassiness and attitude if you dare to wear the bright color.
Jessica Jung’s Posh-Inspired Little Black Dress
Korean star, Jessica, was spotted in the classiest outfit backed by greenery on a warm summer day. Her little black dress was characterized by a mod and posh vibe with a conservative collared neckline and button-down twist. Keeping the piece sleek, elegant, and still seductive, she paired it with white cap-toed ankle boots that really put her slender legs on the radar. She topped off her look with a daring red mini clutch, which is seemingly more stylish than functional.
Jessica’s Inspired Look
It was a little difficult to find a LBD that was sleeveless, collared with the button-down details, but I still managed to find one with a similar silhouette. Her two-toned ankle boots were definitely a hard find and while Barneys’ may not be affordable for most people, there are definitely alternatives at less expensive retailers like Zara and Aldo (if the color and detail isn’t something you are too stubborn about).
Chrissie Chau’s Seductive White Mesh Ensemble
Chrissie’s seductive all white ensemble was characterized by a V-neckline, cropped style, and fishnet mesh details while balanced with a more conservative and classy midi length skirt. She paired the two-piece with a pair of all white sneakers from a special one-time collaboration between Disney and Coach.
Chrissie’s Inspired Look
I’m very hesitant about splurging on a yellow satchel, but it’s ultra cute how the yellow matches the Disney x Coach sneakers. I can only recommend a cheaper yellow satchel from Justfab, whose merchandise is mostly within the $40-50 price range.
